We have secured a block of rooms at Sam Houston State University Hotel on campus, just across the street from the Performing Arts Center, for $99.95/night + taxes, which will be held until April 13. Huntsville lies about 70 miles North of Houston, TX. The closest and most convenient airport is George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Unfortunately, there is no public transport from the airport to Sam Houston State campus. Taxis are available, but costly. Another option is car rental. Furthermore, HKSNA will be providing a shuttle service at limited capacity on a first-come, first-served basis at the times below.

Schedule of events
Featured evening concert artists include Jory Vinikour and Philippe LeRoy, harpsichord duo; Maria Luisa Baldassari, harpsichord and organ; and Enrico Baiano, harpsichord and organ. Also performing in concert are the Bach Society Houston and SHSU Early Music Ensemble, Rick Erickson and Mario Aschauer, conductors.
Opening the Conference on Sunday afternoon, Pamela Ruiter-Feenstra will lead a masterclass on Italian improvisation entitled “Improvisation Lessons from Frescobaldi Toccatas.” In this interactive workshop, Dr. Pamela Ruiter-Feenstra will guide participants how to take improvisation lessons directly from repertoire—in this case, from Frescobaldi Toccatas. Participants are welcome to attend to listen and observe and/or to try out the materials (passive or active participants).
